Kenyans were shocked to see a popular video of a Kenyan woman in Saudi Arabia nursing canines. After seeking jobs in the middle East, Kenyan girls have been tortured. Kenyans saw the viral video and questioned whether the woman's employer had forced her to breastfeed the dogs.
In the video, the woman explained that after understanding she was a new mother, her boss instructed her to breastfeed the puppies. Francis Atwoli, the secretary general of the COTU, disclosed to NTV that the mother had left Kenya two months after giving birth and that when her employer learned that she could breastfeed, she was offered a job caring for pups.
Francis Atwoli has urged young women not to travel to the Gulf states in search of employment because they will be subjected to indirect slavery. A young Kenyan woman named Diana Chepkemoi, who was stuck in Saudi Arabia but was returned home, revealed a few days prior that her coworkers were suffering in the gulf nation.
