Strange Looking Animals You Will Not Believe Actually Exist

Nature is truly full of surprises. Just when you believe you've seen it all, some new and very unusual creature makes an appearance, instantly restoring your faith in the impossible.

In this piece, I have prepared you some really strange animals you probably have never, heard of o,r met before.

1. Mangalitsa Pig

Famously known as the pigs with clothes. They were first discovered in 19 the century by crossbreeding Hungarian breeds. They grow thick, curly coats of hair making them look different from other pigs.

2. Rhinopithecus, or golden snub-nosed monkey

These monkeys are Old World monkeys in the subfamily Colobinae. They are endemic to a small area in temperate, mountainous forests of central and Southwest China.

3. Emperor tamarin

The emperor tamarin is a species of tamarin allegedly named for its resemblance to the German emperor Wilhelm II. They are mostly found in the southwest Amazon Basin and some regions of eastern Peru.

4. Patagonian Mara

Also known as the Patagonian cavy, Patagonian hare, or delay. This herbivorous, somewhat rabbit-like animal is found in open and semi-open habitats in Argentina and some parts of Patagonia.

5. Fluffy cow

These are cows with a fluffy appearance that is more apparent in calves. People also call them "fairly cows" due to their thick coats.

6. Markhor Goat

The markhor, is a large Capra species native to Central Asia, Karakoram, and the Himalayas. It is listed on the IUCN Red List as Near Threatened since 2015.

7. Raccoon dog

Also known as the manager, tanuki or neoguri is a canid indigenous to East Asia.

8. Blue Footed Booby

The blue-footed booby is a marine bird native to subtropical and tropical regions of the eastern Pacific Ocean.

9. Cloud Antelope

The Cloud Antelope is essentially a sort of posable doll. Cloud Antelope. Image via Facebook. Someone got hold of a picture of the Cloud Antelope that did not have a watermark and started trying to pass it off as a real animal.
