Here are the Benefits of Owning Pets/Dogs

There are many health benefits of owning a pet. They can increase opportunities to exercise, get outside, and socialize. Regular walking or playing with pets can decrease blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and triglyceride levels. Pets can help manage loneliness and depression by giving us companionship. Most households in the United States have at least one pet.

Owning a dog can help you live longer. A comprehensive review of studies published between 1950 and 2019 found that dog owners had a lower risk of death. Studies suggest that dog owners have lower blood pressure levels and improved responses to stress.

It is said that people who keep pets are said to be good in their social relations. Kids who grow up with pets at home are always respectful towards living things. Having a dog at home is especially good because they also double up as caretakers. No burglar alarm can be better than a dog at home.

One of the reasons why dogs make good pets is because they help with loneliness. Dogs love being around their owners and love to please them. You'll always have your dog to cuddle with, eat dinner with, or head to a dog-friendly bar. You'll discover quickly that your dog will become your most loyal friend.

Some dogs have been trained to sniff out skin, kidney, bladder, and prostate cancer, among others.

Service dogs are known to benefit people with everything from traumatic brain injury to autism to rheumatoid arthritis, increasing mobility and promoting independence.

Your dog might not be dangerous, but by simply barking, he can keep away a burglar who might think of entering your house.
