The Most Expensive Bird In The World That's Worth 4 Million Kenyan Shillings

Nowadays, animals are trained to carry out different tasks depending on what the owners want. For instance, there are several breeds of dogs that are trained to perform other functions. These dogs are always sold at high prices, and their owners constantly invest a lot of money in ensuring the welfare of the animal. In this piece am going to share with you the name of the most expensive bird in the world and how much it costs in Kenyan shillings.

Belgian-bred pigeons are the fastest birds in the world, according to reports published by reliable sources. Apart from that, they are also the most expensive birds globally. Bolt, the fastest pigeon globally, was recently sold at an auction for 310,000 euros (£260,000, $400,000) to a Chinese businessman.

Bolt was one of 529 speedy pigeons that belonged to a Belgian business magnate named LeoHermess. Hermes is the "pigeon whisperer" because he has conversations with his pigeons just before important competitions. Because Leo contracted an infection from his pigeons by maintaining regular touch with them, he was forced to give up his birds and make the difficult decision to close down his aviary.
