There are those sizes that we are all used to that animals grow.
Some animals even though they are all grown up they still remain relatively small and we are used to that but some grow very tall and we know that.
But some animals have been seen to grow larger than the normal size we are used to.
Here are some of the animal that are abnormally large that exist.
The giant horse Lincoln
It is was the largest horse in the world before its fatal fall and died.
Lincoln was a shire breed and this breed are used for heavy lifting because of their size but Lincoln is larger than the others.
He measured over 6 feet 10 inches in 2014 and surprisingly, he still had time to grow.
Lincoln took 24 apples, 20 carrots, 11 pounds of spinach and 5 cabbages every day.
He suffered injuries in a fall and could not be saved and had to be put to sleep.
Blossom the cow
She held the Guinness World Record for the largest cow in the world until she passed away.
Blossom lived on a farm in Orangeville, Illinois with her owner Patty Hanson since she was a 8 week old calf till her passing away aged 13.
She weighed around 500 pounds and was 6 feet and 4 inches.
Many people in the world travelled to meet Blossom.
Her milk shake brought all the tourists to the yard where Blossom was.
She died from a leg injury.
Medusa the snake
She holds the Guinness world record for being the longest snake.
Medusa was 25ft 2inches long as of 12th October 2011.
Due to her size, Medusa requires twenty strong handlers to take care of her as she can’t handle herself.
She is currently housed at “The Edge of Hell Haunted House” in Kansas.
The Malaysian snake
It was captured at a Malaysian construction site measuring 26.2 feet long.
The snake died three days while laying an egg after its capture.
The Malaysian snake was even longer than Medusa and held the longest captive snake on record.
It is not clearly known why the snake died.
Darius the rabbit
Darius is the largest rabbit in the world.
It is more than 4 feet long.
The size of this rabbit has been contributed by its diet.
About six thousand dollars is spent yearly to sustain Darius eating habit where it consumes 2,000 carrots and 700 apples in a year.
The biggest catfish
It was caught by the local fishermen of Thailand in 2005 weighing 646 pounds and was over 9 feet long.
It is the largest catfish ever caught and the largest freshwater fish as well.
It is as large as a wild bear.
The tallest dog
This dog goes by the name Gibson and was recognized by the Guinness world record for being the tallest dog.
He had even been hosted as a guest on the Tonight Show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Oprah Winfrey Show.
Gibson worked as a therapy dog and passed away on 12th August 2008.
Samson the cat
He is dubbed as the largest cat in New York.
He is 4 feet long and weighs about 28 pounds.
He is not fat or even overweight but he is very strong and large.
