Waititu In Trouble As Mwananchi Credit Goes After His Vehicle Worth 10 Million He Defaulted To Pay.
More trouble has followed the former Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu after it emerged that he had alleged defaulted to pay a 10 million Kenya shillings car loan that he had taken in 2020 from the Mwananchi Credit Limited.
The Mwananchi Credit Limited is now wants to auction the vehicles of the former Kiambu Governor so that they can recover the money
They also revealed that he had used two log books to secure the loan and it's said that he do use the vehicle in his transport business in Kiambu.
From the court documents, Waitutu Said that if his vehicle's are sold, he will suffer losses and damage and he also admitted that he had defaulted the repayment of the loan.
He is the one who moved or court to stop the planned auction as he claimed he was financially unstable after losing his governorship job.
Two vehicles have already been saized by the Mwananchi Credit Limited and he even requested the court to allow him more time to sell some his property and use the money to offset the loan.
