The Higher Education Loans Board has today delivered some Welcome news for students regarding the disbursement of the annual loans .
And today the Higher Education Loans Board on their official handles revealed that they had already received the 2.8 billion capitation from the government and were ready to start the disbursement.
Their post read,"We have today received the financial year 2020/2021 Quarter three capitation from the government treasury. The pending student loan payments are currently being addressed and will be concluded by Thursday 18th March 2021.
This comes as a welcome news especially for students who have now waited for the monies for long.This includes mostly those who were to receive the money at the last quarter of last year.
For those who applied this year then they will have to wait for the next disbursement later in the year.Earlier on they had also talked about those who were supposed to send their monthly remittance.15th which is today was supposed to be the deadline.
