President William Ruto during the launch of the Hustler fund said that the fund will provide 500 times cheaper credit to Kenya with a daily interest rate of 0.002 per cent. There are four categories of loans: personal finance, microloan, SMEs and start-ups.
He also said that almost 8 million people in Kenya who are already blacklisted by all lenders will be allowed to access the Hustler fund.
However, you register and apply the Hustler fund either through the app or USSD code *254#.
"Dear Customer, You have successfully registered to the Hustler Fund. Dial *254# or go to the Hustler Fund Mini-app to check your limit and request for a loan," this is the first message to be received upon registration.
Secondly, you will receive a confirmation short message upon your application. "Dear Customer, your loan limit is ****. To request for a loan, dial *254# or go to the Hustler Fund mini app."
