If you already have a card and you are not aware whether the card is active or not active follow the following steps below.
1) Go to the messaging app on your phone.
2) Go to new message where you can be able to type a message.
Step 3) Type your national Identification ID number or your passport number. Make sure that you begin with the word ID when you type your message.
Step 4) Send the details to 21 101.
Step 5) After a short while you will receive a Notification from the National Hospital Insurance Fund NHIF informing you more about your NHIF card. You will be able to know whether your card is still available or not.
