ODM Party communication guru Philip Etale has disclosed that Kenya will receive a total of Ksh. 1 trillion loan from Breton Woods Institutions.
Breton Woods Institutions is a UK- based NGO working with the World Bank and IMF.
The World Bank and the IMF stated that Kenyans are a sad lot hence the loan will be given without any conditions. However what caught the attention of Raila's Aide is how will we pay the loan.
"The Breton Woods Institutions have accepted to give Kenya a loan of Ksh. 1 trillion UNCONDITIONALLY. The World Bank and the IMF argue that Kenyans are an unhappy lot hence the need to be given the loan without any conditions that come with the same. But how will we pay this loan?" Philip Etale said on Twitter.
The loan will reboot the country's economy after being adversely affected by the pandemic. It will also help the country in paying other loans.
