The following are other consequences of being blacklisted in the Credit Reference Bureau:

1. The most common consequence of being blacklisted in the Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) is the denial of further loans from other money lending platforms like the banks, SACCOs and mobile money lending platforms like Branch and Tala.

2. Having a bad credit score can also make you to be denied job opportunities in either governmental or nongovernmental or private entities. This will keep you jobless and will not be able to meet your basic needs and the needs of your family.

3. Having unpaid debts for long that will make you to be blacklisted in the Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) will make you pay a lot of money that the amount you borrowed because of the high interests the loan will attract.

4. When you get blacklisted in the Credit Reference Bureau (CRB), the institution you owe the money can sue you and be charged in a court of law for defaulting the loan. This can even lead to imprisonment.
