Giant telecommunication company Safaricom has now cleared the air on why during the Hustler's Funds Loan Application, one is promoted to put his/her MPESA PIN that had raised questions among Kenyans.
According to the information shared by Safaricom just some few minutes ago, it has revealed that the MPESA PIN I needed to authenticate the owner of the wallet where the loan will be disbursed. Safaricom has revealed that all data privacy rules are applied and that the PIN is not shared with anyone.
"M-PESA PIN is required to authenticate the owner of the wallet where the loan will be disbursed. All data privacy rules are applied and the PIN is not shared with anyone." Safaricom shared.
The PIN requirement had attracted debate with ODM politician and Kileleshwa Ward MCA Robert Alai questioning why the MPESA PIN was a necessity during the loan application.
