First of all, few seconds after sending the money M-Pesa allows you 27 seconds to confirm details of the one you are sending money to. Incase you find out that you are sending to the wrong person then you can easily cancel the transaction by sending any digit.
Incase you realize the mistake after some minutes or hours. First of all try to negotiate with the reciever. If he or she doesn't resend the money take the next step of contacting the customer care.
The customer care will then contact the reciever and request them to reverse the money back to you. If they act tough and refuse to resend the money, the customer care will then advise you to take the matter to the police.
The police will then Investigate and arrest the reciever who will be later punished in the court of law.
