Although education is considered by many Kenyans as a key to successful life in future, Samidoh, Kikuyu Mugithi King who come from Ol Jororok constituency in Nyandarua county has a different opinion. He does the following to his kids before they go to school:
Mentoring and encouraging them.
Kids are considered to be young scientist who are constructing their own knowledge from the environment and they therefore emulates the behaviour of whoever that is present in their upbringing. Parents should therefore be a mentor.
Showing them that you are concerned with their work both at home and in school makes them work very hard too.
2. Nurturing their talents.
Samidoh himself is a product of talent and he earns so much money through the gift than his professional job that he studied in the University.
3. Guiding and counseling them.
Most guardians fears or lack enough time to talk and give guidance to their young ones so that they can become responsible adults later.
