Domestic violence is one of the most common problems facing Kenyan families today. Over 40% of married women in Kenya have reported being victims of either domestic violence or sexual abuse. Worldwide, over 30% of "ever-partnered women" aged 15 and older have experienced these problems.
However, it is clearly seen from our societies that men are always left out and their problems are never addressed to anyone. For instance, a man in Central Kenya has opened up to the public after his wife and son joined hands and gave him a thorough beating.
This was after he asked his son who had cut off his trees. Instead of giving him a simple answer, he ended up abusing him and later planned for his beating with the help of his wife. Click on the link below to view and listen to his sad story.
Netizens reacted to this post as many of them cursed out what is happening in today's generation. They were surprised on where a child could find out the audacity to lay their hands on their fathers.
This post help other men to come out and also share what they have been going through in their marriages.
