A candidate sitting for the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams in Tharaka Constituency, Tharaka Nithi County has given birth. The candidate welcomed her baby on Monday morning at the Marimanti Hospital before starting the Mathematics paper. And will continue with her exam in the hospital under strict supervision by the supervisor and police officers and later I exam will be taken to the country examination Centre.

The county education officer has condemned the act of early pregnancy among the youth and has requested the teachers to teach children life skills to avoid them getting pregnant at an early age. The girl will finish my exam well in the hospital and kill she is healed.
