A Big Smile On Students Faces

Schools will finally open for Third Term on May 10 as scheduled, Education CS has announced, allaying parents’ concerns since the country is still under strict Covid-19 control measures that were introduced last month .Pro Magoha said on Monday when he supervised the administration of the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education in Kiambu County that schools will reopen as the cases of corona virus have started to reduce and he hopes that this will enable learning to proceed.

Early Learning and Basic Education Principal Secretary Julius had two weeks ago told Nation that a meeting will be held towards the end of the month to enable on the re-opening of schools.

He advised teachers to turn up for vaccination in preparation for the opening that is almost to kick off early this month.

Teachers have been identified as frontline workers in the vaccination drive even if their rate of the vaccine has been slow.

This news has enabled all students starting from primary schools to those in higher studies to smile broadly as their programme that had been arranged will not be affected.

This also give parents a humble time to think on how they can pay fees for their children and even find them some pocket money.
