New details have emerged of the South African woman who was alleged to give birth to 10 kids hence holding the world record.
It has been reported that the South African government is yet to verify whether the claims of giving birth to ten kids are true as several news outlets indicated earlier on. Several news outlets reported that Gosiame Thamara Sithole, who hails from Tembisa township gave birth to 10 children- seven boys and three girls prematurely hence holding the world record if the claims are true.
But according to VOA, the government has not verified the news though neighbours are claiming that the reports are true. Husband to Thamara Sithole claimed that her wife gave birth in an unnamed hospital in the country's capital, Pretoria but some government departments say that it has no such records of babies born in any province.
Reports further show that the family claim that "prenatal scans detected only eight children" but they were surprised on giving birth to 10 children. Besides, they say, they have 6-year old twins.
