A mugithi star identified as Jane has revealed that she was raised in a children's home after her mother left her in hospital after she gave birth to her. Her relatives couldn't afford to raise her which made her yo end up in a children's home.
According to what her grandmother told her she was born in Murang'a. Her mother gave birth to her when she was very young. Her father abandoned her mother when she was pregnant. According to her grandmother, her mother was always bitter when pregnant.
She advised her not to terminate the pregnancy. After nine months she delivered her to the hospital and left her there. The doctors called her grandmother and informed her that her daughter had abandoned the baby there. She picked her up and raised her until she was 2 years.
Her auntie who was living in Nyeri took her but she was a drunkard. She later took her to a children's home in Nyeri where she was raised in a Godly way until she completed her secondary education. She was enrolled in college school where she studied hotel management.
She has met her mother twice but she doesn't seem to have an interest in her. She later moved to Nairobi where she sings mugithi mugithi songs in clubs. She is happy she got parents who love her. She has urged parents to love their parents even when they are abandoned by their fathers.
