Earlier today Ndungu Nyoro shared a post of a patient in a hospital whose relatives were unknown yet she required urgent specialized treatment. Upon sharing the information and a copy of her ID, word passed very fast to her village.
A conversation between a well-wisher from Kirinyaga and the patient's relative who at first didn't know her but upon consulting realized it was actually her step mother. She indicated the lady may have left more than 30 years ago.
The patient's children quickly made a dash to the hospital and it was a happy and emotional moment as mother reunited with her kids.
They were all in tears and perhaps wondering why it has taken all those years for them to reunite.
Ndungu Nyoro has thanked his friend who saw the patient, reached out to him and waited till late evening to link the now adult brother and sister with their mother.
The matter has now taken a different dimension and after signing relevant documents she has been moved to a different ward for specialized care.
We pray for a quick recovery so she can rejoin her family back in Kirinyaga and perhaps they can have the best Christmas celebration with the larger family.
