Second Lady Dorcas Rigathi, has now broken silence on their children travelling abroad to attend State Functions.
Mrs Dorcas, who was speaking at a graduation ceremony at the Bible International University, said that the children played a major role in promoting family values as a key pillar of society.
"If you have listened to our main principles, they are family people. Some are even asking why they are carrying their wives when they are going out. Others are asking why we are going with our sons and that tells you that our society does not appreciate the family value," exclaimed Mrs Dorcas.
She further stated that the Involvement of their sons and daughters in international duties and local affairs clearly shows that both families of President William Ruto and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua are men.
She also called on Kenyans to uphold family values to help in solving the social challenges facing Kenya.
