Motherhood sometimes is a challenge to many upcoming mothers, who fear the cost and what comes with caring of a baby. But why get pregnant?
A 29 year old mother is reported to have dumped one day old infant in pit latrine. Luckily the infant was rescued and transported to the hospital for medication. The lady who is a tea piker was noticed by her colleagues who discovered that he was no longer pregnant and had no evidence to show that he delivered.
As such, according to Gatanga Police boss Laurence Njeru, the police had received reports of a woman from Kimandi Wanyaga village who reportedly gave birth but the infant was nowhere to be seen.
They then went to the woman's house for interrogation where she confessed to have given birth, the baby was later named angel for surviving such horrific incidence. Women should always be responsible and adore the motherhood despite the circumstances.
