Francis a middle aged .an has narrated how his wife whom he loved so much died after a short illness. She left him 8 children the youngest being 2 years old. He didn't want his children to undergo mistreatment. He decided to raise them single handedly despite the pressure from friends and family.
Francis was born and raised in Murang'a.After completing his studies he moved to Ndandora where he met his wife.They were blessed by their parents to start their family.They used to do manual jobs to sustain their family. They were also blessed with 8 children who they loved and thanked God for.
One day his wife woke up complaining of pain allover her body.She requested her husband to buy her medicine from the pharmacy which he did.Francis left for work as usual and wished her a quick recovery. At around 2pm she received a call from the neighbours who told him to go back home because his wife's health was detoriating.
He rushed her to the hospital but she was pronounced dead on arrival. Francis was heartbroken and didn't know how to tell his kids that their mom is no more.The youngest daughter was 2 years old.After the burial friends and family members would pressure him to remarry Inorder to raise the 8 kids.
Since Francis had heard rumours of how stepmother mistreats the children he chose to stay single and raise them because he loved them so much.with the help of family and friends he was able to raise them and educate them.The older one completed school and got employed. They helped their dad to raise the young ones.
It was not easy to raise the girls but she involved their aunts to guide them.He is happy that they all managed to be employed although he was left lonely in the home.They do visit him and love him so much.
