South Africans have organized to help the mother of ten babies through a National Baby Shower Program. According to reports by the Citizen, many people have cited that the woman would be unable to raise the ten kids single handedly thus the need for public support. South Africans of Goodwill will make contributions towards the babies' needs.

Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane noted that her family is ready to donate baby goods to Gosiame Thamara''s family. Sithole appealed to the public for help in raising her babies. She stated to Pretoria News that she will not be able to return to work due to her situation.
A segment of South Africans had initially doubted the news due to the secrecy about the hospital where the babies were born. However, Ekurhuleni mayor Mzwandile Masina confirmed the babies were real. Below are reactions from South Africa following the program.
