Why Pregnant Women Should Not Eat Pawpaw.

Pawpaw contains carbohydrates, vitamin A, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin C, papain, organic acid and minerals such as iron, calcium, potassium and phosphorous.

Eating pawpaw will supplements you with the things your body needs. But pawpaw is a cold fruit which should not be taken by people with weak stomach and weak body. Pawpaw will decrease the body temperature of an individual to a point where your stomach will hurt.

Such people should not eat pawpaw at anytime of their life's. Pregnant women should not eat pawpaw because it contains pawpaw glycosides.

Pawpaw glycosides causes uterine contractions and in some cases may cause miscarriage. Pawpaw however will also cause pregnant related complication to women.

It is therefore advised that pregnant women to always stay away from consuming pawpaw for the well being of themselves and for the baby.

Pawpaw however is good for the body if you do not have any of the problems motioned above.
