Teresia Wairimu from Nyahururu has narrated how she suffered in the hands of her boss and his son where she was employed as a house girl, she says that after after she got pregnant the told her to get rid of the baby.
According to her is that she was the third born in a family of five, her father passed on when she was still in school and life became very hard.she had to drop out of school to help her mother feed the other small siblings.
She got her first job in Nairobi as a house girl but she was never paid for 10 months, untill her mother visited her one day and they paid her all the money and she decided to go back home with her mother because she was been mistreated.
Teresia says that she looked for another job still as a house girl and she found one in Nairobi also, life at first was good but after some months her boss started to follow her in the bathroom and would force her to sleep with her.
She was stressed but didn't want to go back home and so she used to accept although it was not on her own will, after a while his son also started to sleep with her and he would threaten her he would chase her away.
She claims that she realized she was pregnant and didn't know who was responsible between the father and the son and when she told her boss he forced her to get rid of the baby and since she did have any other option she aborted the baby.
She got sick and had to go back to her parents house and from that day she asked God to never allow her to work again as a house help since she had gone through a lot, right now she is a pastor and do counseling to girls employed as house help.
