Knowing Safe And Unsafe Days

Before you try to use the calendar method as birth control method you should keep track of the length of your menstrual cycles for at least 6 periods. You can always do this with a regular calendar .

Here’s is a clear way how you do it: Mark the first day of your period on the calender(this is day 1). Also mark the first day of your expected period.

Then you should Count the total number of days between each cycle (the number of days that are between the first days of each period).

If you find out all of your cycles are shorter than 27 days, then the calendar method won’t be accurate for you.

On how to predict the first fertile day or when you can get pregnant in your current cycle:

1You need to Find the shortest cycle in your previous or past record.

2 you should Subtract 18days from the total number of days in that previous cycle .

3 Then Count that number from atleast day 1 of your current cycle, mark that day with bold letter X and include the first day when counting.

4 That day that you have marked with bold X should be your first fertile day.
