Today over 2 million candidates are sitting fot their Kenya Certificate Of Primary Education Examinations.The exams are set to end on Wednesday 30th this month. The grade four Pupils are also sitting for their national examinations.The form candidates already started their Kenya Certificate Of Secondary Education With The Practicals.They are set to begin the theory papers on Friday.
A young girl in Tharaka Nithi has just given birth before sitting for her first paper.
The candidates were to start with the mathematics paper earlier this morning.
A report by citizen digital indicated that the candidate delivered a baby earlier this morning at Marimanti Hospital just before sitting for her first paper.
Area education director Salecio Maringe said that the student will sit for her paper while in the hospital.
Cases of students giving birth during and before national examinations has now become a common thing.In such scenarios the government do consider such students and oftenly they are always allowed to continue doing their examinations while in the hospital under a tight security.
