Emotions High As A Baby Whose Mother Died After Delivering Him While In Saudi Arabia Dies

Damaris Kemunto was a Kenyan lady from Kisii land who left Kenya to go and work in Saudi Arabia. While in Saudi Arabia, Damaris delivered a bouncing baby boy.


Unfortunately, Damaris lost her life in September 2020 after developing complications. Her body stayed for some time in Saudi Arabia.

As arrangements concerning ferrying of Damaris' body to Kenya were ongoing, her son was brought to Kenya. He was received at the airport by Damaris' family. It was a happy moment receiving the baby back to his motherland.

Saddening news have been shared on Facebook today. A man identified as SA KA shared the news concerning death of the baby. He captioned his post "Can't believe in my eyes and ears that you have gone. How so soon that you have followed your mum. I remember how I had sleepless nights when repatriating your mum from Saudi Arabia when she passed on after giving birth to you. Rest in power innocent angel. You with your mum sing and dance with angels since we believe there is life after death.

Kenyans have been filled with emotions as they mourned death of Damaris' son. They also penned down Condolences messages to the family.
