REVEALED:Insiders Reveal Ruto's Secret Meeting In Ethiopia That Ended Raila's Lucrative AU Job

Insiders at the continental body claim that President William Ruto had a hand in former prime minister Raila Odinga's resignation as the AU's High Representative for Infrastructure.

AUC officials and Ruto were scheduled to meet behind closed doors on the sidelines of the AU Heads of State and Government Meeting on Thursday, February 23 at the request of a diplomatic source at the AUC.According to the source, the recent anti-government protests prompted the Kenyan delegation to seek that Raila's term be terminated.

"This was a polite termination and the request was made at one of the closed-door meetings on the sidelines of the AU Summit, ” a diplomat told Nation media group on Thursday,2nd February.

The Head of State was allegedly responsible for the request, according to a different source within the Kenyan delegation.

On the other hand, considering that independent institutions in the nation, such the Supreme Court, affirmed Ruto's election victory, the AU was more likely to heed the request.

Remarkably, no complaints about Ruto's victory were made by officials at the continental body despite the fact that the election observers also participated in the 2022 General Election.
