Monday ay 20th is the day that Raila Odinga is expected to lead a mass action to state house to push Ruto out of office for he has failed to fulfil what he promised Kenyans if he becomes the president. Well, president Ruto has also directed all police bosses not to interfere in the Azimio La Umoja coalition's demos and rallies slated to begin on Monday.
According to the reports, president Ruto asked Regional Police Commanders and County Police Commanders to allow Rail go on with his plans to demonstrate as he wished. This is to prevent Raila from gaining momentum. Raila had earlier on called out his supporters to gather in Nairobi on Monday, to help him demonstrate against the government.
Despite the president directing police commanders to let Raila demonstrate, last week all roads leading to state house were blocked by security officers in readiness to deal with anyone who would have an intention to interfere with state house daily services. Raila had vowed to take action against Ruto's government for failing to bring down the cost of unga and other important commodities down.
