Earlier today president Uhuru Kenyatta suspended Judge Mary Gitumbi and appointed a tribunal on her removal on medical grounds. He also declared vacancy in the office of Chairperson of PSC to replace Stephen Kirogo who died.
Gitumbi who was a judge of environment and land court, was suspended following a petition by Judicial Service Commission (JSC) seeking her removal from office.
This decision has not gone well with kenyans who think that it was not the right way for the president to remove her from office like an ordinary person who has never served the nation despite her mental problems.
Some argue that her removal could be done in a quieter way than just exposing her health condition while putting her family into depression like that.
Others say that she could be asked to take a early retirement which could be more respectful that suspending her.
