Mt Kenya Chairperson Hon Peter Munga has informed the foundation's change of tune over Raila Odinga's Presidency as One Kenya Alliance Co-Principals issue tough conditions.
According to the OKA principals namely Musalia Mudavadi of One Kenya Alliance, Kalonzo Musyoka of Wiper and Gideon Moi of KANU have in a veiled attack on Raila warned MKF tycoons against favoring the ODM leader in their 2022 political plans, saying he will sow seeds of discord.
However, after their hardy stand, the Mt Kenya Foundation Chairman has informed that as the Mt Kenya leaders they are the ones who will give the direction on President Uhuru's succession however informing that they have no preferred candidate on their side.
"As Mt. Kenya people, we will give direction to the country as far as our political direction is concerned. We have no preferred candidate," Peter Munga (Chairperson Mt. Kenya Foundation).
Mr. Titus Ibui who serves as the Mt Kenya Foundation Vice Chairman has to set the record straight informing that the Safari Park Hotel meeting is not the final and that they are still planning to hold another meeting dubbed as the Limuru three.
The MKF Vice-Chair has added that in the upcoming meeting they will unveil who they will support in 2022 after serious scrutiny.
