Many today may not know so much about this man Bob Munro.who is Munro? He is the founder and chairman of the Kenya premier league's outfit Mathare united and Mathare youth sports association (MYSA),a sports development program he initiated way back in the year 1987.

Munro had set his focus to lighting the candle of hope on matters sports and community building particularly in the Kenyan Nairobi slums. His vision was to nature football talents and enhance Environmental conservation awareness. Through Mysa mentorship and career growth programs,Education has also been largely enhanced.

Bob's vision has been the architect behind many splendid football careers that ever graced the Kenyan football scene among them;Dennis Oliech and the Midfield maestro George midenyo alias "Tompo' who started their soccer stories at Mathare united.I celebrate this man as the legend who chose to share his love for football and Community integration with the Kenyan slums. His is a case of generational legacy.
