Ruto Warned Publicly, Told The Biggest Mistake He Did That Might Haunt His Gov't Politically

President William Ruto and former Interior CS Fred Matiang'i are not expected to shake hands, something attorney Miguna Miguna has vehemently opposed.

Miguna tweeted that if Ruto and Matiang'i did reconcile, it would be tragic and a terrible mistake. This was in response to a news article that implied they would.

"If it were accurate, it would be a terrible and disastrous error. Millions of Kenyans who supported Gachagua and Ruto and everything he stands for despise Fred Matiang'i "Like he stated.

Miguna made the remark in response to DPP Noordin Haji's claims that a deal for Matiang's release was negotiated during a series of meetings with Kisii elders, the president, and other people with his allies.

Education CS Ezekiel Machogu and Matiang'i met on Sunday at a secret hotel in Karen. But no specifics of the meeting were made public.

As a result of an alleged home raid that the police disputed, Matiang'i has recently made headlines. Last week on Tuesday, Matiang'i appeared before the DCI after being called.

The DCI suggests that the former CS be charged with conspiring to commit a criminal in violation of Penal Code section 393 in order to prosecute him.

A punishment for spreading false information in violation of section 23 of the 2018 Computer and Misuse and Cybercrime Act was also demanded. The DPP nevertheless instructed the DCI to end the investigation without taking any additional police action.
