What Ruto Promised Today On His International Women's Day Message.

President William Ruto has today echoed his determination to ensure there are gender equality in the country. He stated that his administration will ensure that women get their deserved empowerment and opportunities.

The President In his #International Women's Day message, he acknowledged that the process of raising socioeconomic and political inclusion of women towards full equality is in progress .

On the gender-imbalanced political leadership, Ruto assured there were ongoing talks to make amendments in the Constitution that could address the matter. These are what Ruto said:

''We stand ready to do our part in full and will not stop until we fulfil this critical commitment," he stated.

"This is the reason why I have engaged parliamentary leadership in the spirit of bipartisan patriotic collective action to explore a viable constitutional path to promote equality and inclusion in political representation." He concluded.

He also promised to remove any form of barrier that could hinder equity for all in the country's confident that the full participation of women can help us feel the missing half of our country's national product.
