The Juja by elections experienced several disruptions. At some point, the Electoral and Boundaries Commission had to halt the counting after Kiambu governor James Nyoro caused disruptions.
However, according to preliminary results, Moses Kuria's candidate George Koimburi is leading. Mathira member of parliament honourable Rigathi Gachagua therefore took time to congratulate him. According to him, as they wait for the official announcement of Hon. George Koimburi as the MP elect for Juja Constituency, he took the opportunity to thank their Hustler Nation team for a job well done inspite of intimidation, harrassment and bribery.
His special gratitude went to their general Hon. Moses Kuria for successfully leading their troops in the well deserved victory. Even though the battle was not easy because he was competing with President Uhuru's Jubilee Party.
He also added that the win added with the one in Rurii Ward should send a clear message to all that politics of the Mt. Kenya Region will never be the same again. That the people are free and will never again be anybody's slaves.
