After the weekend's disappointing loss to Manchester City, Chelsea will be looking forward to showing a reaction and put that kind of result behind and continue with the form that saw them top of the table. Chelsea's Reece James will miss the game after twisting his ankle. Christian Pulisic is also on the injury list, along with Jorginho and mason mount, who sustained knocks.
Juventus, on the other hand, has had an underwhelming campaign managing a mere 8 points from their previous six series A games. Other than that, Juventus lost Paulo Dybala to injury during their weekend game with Sampdoria. Alvaro Morata and Andrien Rabiot are also set to miss the matches with injury.
Romelu Lukaku is set to start the match with Timo Werner, whom they shared a good partnership with during the weekend despite Thuchel opting for a more defensive game and Kai Havertz to complete the attacking trio.
Marcos Alonso struggled defensively, so Ben Chilwell is set to take his place along with Matteo Kovacic, N'golo kante, and Callum Hudson Odoi to take the place of Reece James.
Cesar Azpilicueta and Antonio Rudiger are set to start on either side of Thiago Silva.
Edward Mendy is set to keep his place.
