Since mid March 2021, the Ministry of Health has been testing Kenyans for the deadly Corona virus disease and further encouraging Kenyans to take all necessary measures towards ensuring that the viral infection is contained.

The Government of Kenya through the Ministry of Health in bid to curb further spread of the viral disease has been securing Covid-19 vaccines for Kenyans, a move that has assisted the country a lot in preventing the disease.
On Wednesday October 6th, the Ministry of Health established that the country received a consignment of 250,000 doses of Johnson and Johnson (J&J) vaccine.
The above announcement comes as good news for Kenyans as they (Kenyans) will now get the vaccine of their choice, that is, between J &J vaccine and AstraZeneca vaccine.
According to the Ministry of Health, the above mentioned number of COVID-19 vaccines was procured by the government of Kenya. The Ministry of Health has therefore urged members of the public to visit government Health facilities in order to receive the jab.
