Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria, has made a major announcement after forming his own party a few weeks ago.
The Gatundu South Legislator says that he will not be in the running for any political office in the 2022 General Elections.
He has claimed that his main focus will be building a strong political party for the people of Mount Kenya.
Moses Kuria will be looking forward into negotiating for a strong position for Mount Kenya come next year.
Moses Kuria has in the past been linked with the Deputy President's party, United Democratic Alliance, claims which he has now refuted.
Recently, he formed a party with two powerful central leaders who also share the same vision as him.
Here are some reactions from Kenyans on the news of Moses Kuria not running for any office in 2022:
Denice Onyango: The ground is very hot. It's not a matter of building party he has sensed danger ahead.
Don Campbell: Good. Good. Ruto can capitalize on that.
Lucy Sekete: Aliambiwa atakua Minister of Interior Affairs na boss wake.
Sarah Chepkirui: Who still takes Kuria this serious?
Ruth Cyrus: Who takes serious Kuria? Kigeugeu.
