President Ruto, his deputy, Gachagua, and Prime CS Musalia Mudavadi
Allegations have now emerged saying that President William Ruto is already in the process of firing some members of his Cabinet who are not performing as he anticipated when the appointed them.
On Saturday. 11 March, ODM MCA Robert Alai claimed that Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Dr Alfred Mutua could be on Ruto's chopping board.
According to the Kileleshwa MCA, the CS has not impressed the President and he anticipated when he appointed him to head the crucial docket.
Alai claimed that Mutua is allegedly causing a mess with the diplomatic community, which is the reason why the President could be conspiring to bench him from his first team.
Alai went further and alleged that Ruto was planning to reward Wiper Democratic Movement Party Kalonzo Musyoka with the same post, and at least use it as a bait trap and force him to dump ODM leader Raila Odina and the Azimio la Umoja team.
Without pricing any proof for his allegations, Alai noted that the former Vice Price turned down the offer from the President, which could be the only reason why Dr Mutua is still in office.
"This Kenya Kwanza regime is funny. Last week they offered Kalonzo the Foreign Affairs CS job because Alfred Mutua is causing a mess with the diplomatic community and also to have Kalonzo abandon Azimio. Kalonzo told them that it doesn’t impress him much," Robert Alai claimed.
Dr Mutua has been one of the most active Cabinet Secretaries since Ruto named his Cabinet. He has visited different countries, including accompanying the President on a number of foreign trips that he has been making since he took the instruments of power from President Uhuru Kenyatta
