Former Kiambu county governor William Kabogo has come out to finally break his silence after Hustler Nation Candidate George Koimburi badly floored the ruling Jubilee Party to clinch the Juja constituency member of parliament position, according to reports.
In a statement sent to newsrooms, Kabogo said that it is clear to everyone that Mr Koimburi, who is allied to deputy president William Ruto and Gatundu South member of parliament Moses Kuria's Party has won the By-elections.
"It is apparent now that the Juja constituency parliamentary seat has been won by Hon George Koimburi. I congratulate him on his election victory," he said in part.
He continues to make a desperate plea to Jubilee Party candidate Hon Susan Njeri who is the widow to former area member of parliament Francis Waititu to concede defeat and work together with the winning candidate for the prosperity of the Juja people.
Kabogo indicates that despite him and others campaigning for Susan Njeri, the people of Juja have finally spoken and made an informed decision on how they want to be governed going forward.
