New information has emerged about the important coalition arrangement that Kalonzo Musyoka is now negotiating, as well as the potential top presidential candidate that Kalonzo Musyoka may support ahead of the 2022 general elections. According to recent findings, Kalonzo Musyoka may chose to cooperate with former Prime Minister Raila Odinga in 2022, after the prime minister stated on numerous times that he will be working with Kalonzo Musyoka shortly.
These fresh findings contradict Kalonzo's declaration that he would never collaborate with former Prime Minister Raila Odinga. Because the election is a two-horse race between Raila Odinga and deputy president William Ruto, Kalonzo must carefully consider his next moves if he hopes to join the next government.
On the other hand, the deputy president's camp had pledged to grant Kalonzo Musyoka the role of National Assembly Speaker if he agreed to work with them before 2022.
