Man City Displaced To Position 5 in the Premier League Table After Everton 3-1 Victory vs Burnley

Everton saw off Burnley 3-1 at Goodison Park to remain unbeaten in the Premier League this seaaon under new manager Raphael Benitez and seal 3 vital points. Everton came into the fixrure confident for a victory although they struggled in the first half to force a goalless draw at the break. The Clarets opened the scoring in the 53rd minute through Ben Mee who was assisted by Gudmundson while Everton equalized through Keane in the 60th minute after being assisted by Townsend. Everton rallied for a winner and scored two goals in a span of 1 minute through Townsend (65) & Gray (66) to seal a comfortable 3-1 victory at home.

Everton displaced Premier League defending champions Manchester City at position 4 in the EPL Table with 10 points after their 3-1 victory against Burnley. Manchester City thrashed Leceister City 1-0 at Kingpower Stadium last weekeend to claim their 3rd consecutive clean sheet victory and moved to position 5 with 9 points. Manchester United to the table with 10 poibts while Norwich City anchor the table still pointless after 4 matches.
