Allies of Deputy President William Ruto now say that they have realized something quite unfortunate about Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka.
The former Vice President, just like Ruto, is a 2022 presidential aspirant, and has repeatedly been heard bashing the DP, accusing him of graft.
On Thursday, allies of the DP said that it is time Kalonzo came up with his own campaign agenda, observing that he has turned Ruto into his agenda.
Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung'wah termed it sad that the leader has also began using Ruto's ideas, adding that they are praying for him to stop this habit.
He spoke as he urged fellow Kenyans, especially those from the leader's Ukambani backyard, to help him in praying for Kalonzo to change.
"Please beg Kalonzo for me and I am really praying for him to stop using other people's name and their agenda as his own agenda. He needs to have his own plan," he said at Ruto's Karen residence in Nairobi.
He was among the leaders who were present when the DP hosted a delegation from the Lower Eastern region, popularly known as Ukambani.
Ruto used the event to once again bash his boss; President Uhuru Kenyatta, over his collapsed constitutional amendment push, hailing it's death.
He claimed that the plan was to bring back imperial presidency, which, according to him, God decided to personally end after the people failed.
"BBI was rejected by God himself because it was going to opress Kenyans and that I am not ashamed to say," said the second in command.
