The Football Kenya Federation Premier League is expected to take a short break - after matchday one was successfully completed over the weekend - and will resume on Friday, 15th October.
Fixtures released by the Football Kenya Federation for matchday 2 indicated that the league is expected to resume on Friday, 15th October with two fixtures scheduled for that day.
It can be noted that the move is to allow Harambee Stars head coach Engin Firat ample time to prepare the squad for the upcoming Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
Kenya will play Mali in a back to back fixture set for 6th October - away and 13th October in Nairobi.
Coach Firat who is contracted for two months will have his first assignment in Mali's away game. Kenya is second in Group E with two points behind Mali who top the group with four points.
