Sad news emerging from the transport sector as five people lose their lives in a horrific road accident along the busy Londiani - Muhoroni Highway.
This comes amidst rising number of road accidents claiming innocent lives along major roads with the Ministry of Transport issuing an early warning on an impending surge in casualties if parties involved particularly Motorists do note take necessary precautions and ensure human safety comes first.
According to one of the local TV stations, the grisly accident which claimed five souls occurred at the busy Kenya Jambo Junction area along the highway. The rescue operations are underway as police are cautious when approaching the scene with more details to follow.
Drivers and other road users are always advised to follow traffic rules and make sure that passengers' safety and theirs come first as no human life can be replaced once lost.
