Raila Odinga had issued 14 days ultimatum to president William Ruto to lower the cost of living if not he will call for mass action and among them going to statehouse to remove president William Ruto from office.
Earlier today the roads leading to statehouse have been blocked by police officers with the fear of mass action because 14 days have elapsed.Police are very keen and no motorist is allowed to use the roads that have been blocked.
Raila Odinga has however told his supporters to wait for Thursday morning he will give his way forward. He might ask them to go on with the protest or he might call it off.Right now no one can tell if the protests will be on or not with some condemning it but the president William Ruto dismissed the protest threats from Raila and his team.
Raila has however given Ruto until Wednesday midnight to answer his complaints or face the results from his supporters.Thursday morning is set for the huge declaration.
The demands by the Azimio brigade include the opening of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) servers, bringing down the cost of living, restoring subsidies on fuel and essential commodities, restoring the people's voice, strengthening democracy, and ending what Mr Odinga called electoral deceit.
Odinga is supposed to give the way forward to his allies on Thursday.
