Today, Mercy Mwangangi has informed Kenyans that 65 people have tested positive for Covid 19 from a sample size of 3,198. The positivity rate today is at 2 per cent. Nairobi County is leading with 23 cases followed by Samburu county with 5 cases.
Another bad news to all Kenyans is that 5 patients have died from the Disease raising the total confirmed deaths in the nation to 5, 195.
296 patients have recovered from Covid 19, 279 from home based isolation and care program and 17 from health care facilities in the country.
"Health Chief Administrative Secretary, Dr. Mercy Mwangangi, confirms 65 people have tested positive for the Corona virus disease from a sample size of 3198 tested in the last 24 hours." Ministry of Health tweeted on their official verified Twitter account.
