Ever since Machakos County governor Alfred Mutua decided to ditch the Azimio la Umoja team for the Kenya Kwanza, United Democratic Alliance party chairman Johnson Muthama has declined to work alongside him.
Hon Johnson Muthama has never attended any of the two political rallies that the Kenya Kwanza team have held in Machakos County because of the broken relationship he has with Governor Alfred Mutua.
According to reliable Daily Nation news reports, UDA chairman Johnson Muthama has stated that for him to mend and work closely with Alfred Mutua, he should send an apology to the people of Machakos County for 10 years misrule.
"Governor Mutua can go to any corner of this country and campaign for my presidential candidate and campaign for his candidate also but it is not a must that we should pretend and dine together.
If we have to work together with the same goal, Mutua needs to first of all apologise to Machakos people for cheating them." Johnson Muthama stated.
Should the Governor do this?
